Rafael runs the firm behind the scenes. Files, systems, calendars and the steady operational work that decides whether a matter moves cleanly or quietly stalls all sit with him, and most of it is invisible when it is done properly. Much of the job is coordination, keeping the attorneys, the paralegals and the firm’s outside vendors working from the same picture.

He joined Netsquire in April 2026, from banking. He began his career in Honduras with BAC, working with corporate and private clients, and continued in the United States with TD Bank and Wells Fargo, sitting across from customers on the ordinary problems that feel enormous when they are your own. It is closer to family law than it sounds. Both jobs come down to explaining a process clearly to somebody who is anxious about it, and then actually doing what you said you would do.

What he brings to a law firm is the habit of treating process as something that serves people rather than the other way around. He is organised by temperament, curious about how systems work, and persistent about closing the loop on things, which is the quality that matters most in a practice where a missed date has consequences for a family.

Rafael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Business Administration from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC).

Rafael is from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and lives in Princeton, New Jersey, where his time goes to his dogs and his family. He travels whenever he gets the chance and is the rare passenger who enjoys the whole of it, the airlines, the airports and the flying itself as much as wherever he lands. Off the clock he trains, keeps music going through most of the day, has an ongoing project in decorating his house, and will go out of his way for a good restaurant.
