Bio

With almost twenty years experience representing individuals and families with all types of legal issues, Mr. Nachlinger has dedicated his professional career to providing top-notch legal services at reasonable prices, having become Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, an honor only 2% of New Jersey attorneys have obtained. He currently devotes his practice to Divorce and Family Law Mediation, helping families find a resolution to their disputes inexpensively and without the cost and aggravation of traditional litigation. Mr. Nachlinger is a Qualified New Jersey Mediator and receives ongoing training on mediation techniques to help find solutions to the legal problems people come to him with.

Mr. Nachlinger’s professional and personal history illustrates his commitment to excellence. He was born and raised in Texas, having graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Mr. Nachlinger continues to be interested in politics and political theory. Additionally, Mr. Nachlinger studied music in college, where he was a classically trained clarinetist. Immediately after completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Nachlinger relocated to New Jersey to pursue a career in law. He attended law school at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark. While in law school, Mr. Nachlinger was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review and the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board. He was also President of the Lambda Law Forum, the LGBTQ student group, and a member of the Family Law Clinic, where he represented people who could not afford legal counsel in divorce, custody, and support cases. Upon his graduation from Seton Hall, Mr. Nachlinger was named the Family Law Clinic Student of the Year. He also received the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys, New Jersey Chapter, Student of the Year Award.

After graduating from Seton Hall, Mr. Nachlinger accepted a judicial clerkship with the Hon. David A. Rosenberg, J.S.C. and the Hon. Frank M. Ciuffani, J.S.C. Working in the family part for both jurists, Mr. Nachlinger received an intimate education on the workings of the court system and honed his legal and analytical skills. After his clerkship, Mr. Nachlinger accepted a position with a boutique family law firm. He established himself as an aggressive advocate who effectively settled cases. Mr. Nachlinger set himself apart from his peers as a rising star in the legal community.

In December 2014, Mr. Nachlinger formed Netsquire with fellow attorney, and former adversary, Christina Previte, Esq. On June 1, 2022, they decided to start a new low cost legal company called Netsquire, to provide flat fee assistance to New Jersey residents facing divorce.

Mr. Nachlinger is active in the New Jersey State Bar Association, where he was a member of the Board of Trustees. He is also a past Chair of the LGBTQ Rights Section, as well as a past Editor-in-Chief of that Section’s newsletter. Mr. Nachlinger is a member or former member of the Family Law Section, CLE Advisory Committee, Meeting Arrangements and Planning Committee, and Finance and Operations Committee.

Mr. Nachlinger is also a member of the American Bar Association, LGBTQ National Bar Association-Family Law Institute, Middlesex County Bar Association, and Monmouth County Bar Association. Mr. Nachlinger regularly lectures and writes scholarly articles. From 2011 to 2015, he moderated the annual LGBTQ Update, an all-day seminar on all areas of LGBTQ law attended by more than 100 attorneys and judges each year. He also lectured on civil rights at the Middlesex County Bar Association dinner in February 2013. Mr. Nachlinger wrote “QDRO Pitfalls” in the December 2011 edition of the New Jersey Family Lawyer. He is also the co-author of “Adventures in Equitable Distribution: Division of Assets and Liabilities in Long-Term LGBTQ Relationships” in the June 2013 edition of the New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.

Mr. Nachlinger is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, New Jersey, and New York.

Mr. Nachlinger resides in Freehold with his daughter and beagle.
